Painting
| I have been painting a lot lately. Not painting paintings, but walls. After major renovations to our home I get to paint our once hideous hippy-flower-power-nauseating wallpaper walls. I have been using a wall magic roller. Pure genius the person who created this. My walls look like they've been glazed- all soft and dreamy. I love my walls. Who would have thunk it? However, I do miss creating. Yesterday I sat down at my art table all set to do edits on a painting for a client. I was so content! So happy! It felt so good. Then I decided that it would be best to do the edits digitally. I had to pry myself away from my beloved studio. It was a tragic moment, but I'm okay now. |

Where am I?
| I haven't posted for forever and a day. I haven't painted in even longer. I'm having serious withdrawals. My private life has always been chaotic . . . Now it's just insane. I attribute it to softball, t-ball, volunteer work, puppies, horses, yard work, house work, faulty automobiles, commissioned paintings, business, and getting ready for my show. I still manage to save time for my friends and family, which is most important. I wonder if I'll ever be caught up? Did I mention that we're remodeling our home? It looks like a construction zone. Mostly because of me and my reorganization skills, or lacking there of. Oh yeah, and my husband keeps inviting more and MORE people over for the Memorial Day weekend. He's the insane one . . . After all the drama that came with the Holiday weekend LAST year. Did ya'll know he works full time and is going to school to finish his Business degree? But, I digress. Where am I again? Oh yeah . . . Painting. Haven't done much of that lately. |

Compliment
| I received a compliment from a perfect stranger the other day on my eyebrows. Weird how this sticks with me. Why the eyebrows? And why do I have a fascination with "good" eyebrows? Ya ever notice that the divas I paint have fantastic eyebrows? My friend Ramona has TERRIFIC eyebrows. |

Artist Statement
