Faery Dust
Today she flew onto my canvas. Quite literally. (Pst. She also flew here.) |

Birds of a Feather (Escape)
I painted her today: (Detail) Admittedly, she didn't come smoothly, but I really like how she turned out. All I needed was a bit of Holly Palmer to get it right. She is submitting herself to the theme of "escape" of this week's theme at Illustration Friday. |

Stumble Upon
A special thanks to Liz who enlightened me to the ways of Stumble Upon. I get it! I now understand! Thanks Liz! (Who is a fabulous artist. How very, very clevAH to paint young girls with sub-machine oozies. Also, check out her husband's art for a good laugh.) |

Breath of Fresh Air
I finished creating this little lady yesterday: I don't usually do "my divas" so innocent and chaste (ha!) But as always, they simply demand to come out the way they demand to come out. I just want to hug this one . . . Although she does look a bit slippery. If you like her, you can have her. Go here. (But hurry. You only have a week.) |

Depth (Multifaceted Growth)
Yep. Still working on this one for a client. (Click to Enlarge) I think this illo is perfectomondo for this week's theme of "depth" at Illustration Friday. |

Yeah.
I have had the most tumultuous of days that it seems irrelevant to even mention until my life goes back to it's usual self. (Whatever that might be. I dunno.) So, that said, I will be back when life returns to something comprehensible. Because right now it's playing out like a David Lynch movie. |
